National Domestic Violence Hotline

About the organization: The Hotline is a 24-hour confidential service for survivors, victims and those affected by domestic violence, intimate partner violence and relationship abuse.
My Role & Contributions:
– Main point of contact for client managing all projects for their retainer on multiple sub sites
– Maintained high confidentiality on projects for survivor’s protection
– Lead designers and developers to maintain and create new pages to increase donations
– Worked with the digital marketing team and others to provide accessibility, performance, SEO, and GA audits

GirlTrek

About the organization: GirlTrek is a nonprofit dedicated to improving Black women’s health though walking, influencing millions of their members and shaping a new culture of health.
My Role & Contributions:
– Took over from another project manager to complete and launch the website while maintaining a great relationship with client stakeholders
– Collaborated with developers to complete front-end and back-end management of the custom WordPress site
– Tested and QA’d site for responsiveness and maintained and organized log of bugs and fixes to completion
– Site was a Gold Winner of the 2nd Annual Anthem Awards!

Center for American Progress

About the organization: CAP is a public policy research and advocacy organization dedicated to improving the lives of Americans through ideas and action
My Role & Contributions:
– Lead the largest retainer project working with multiple teams from both CAP and internal designers and developers.
– Maintained a custom WordPress setup and backend to allow the client’s team to post critical articles and events efficiently.
– Revamped the client’s web processes and moved to a Kanban agile methodology which increased productivity by ~40% (Measured by the completed number of tasks per month)
– Supported teams to complete major milestones and projects (For example – producing the poverty data map project)
– The CAP site is a Webby Award winner!

Open Path Psychotherapy Collective

About the organization: Open Path Psychotherapy Collective is a non-profit nationwide network of mental health professionals dedicated to providing in-office and online mental health care—at a steeply reduced rate—to individuals, couples, children, and families in need.
My Role & Contributions:
– Worked with a team of developers to deliver fast solutions to cater to Open Path’s councelers and clients
– Ensured the CMS was maintained and operational
– Organized tasks and maintained developer’s workload
– Provided updates and reports to client on hours used and details of tasks completed

My Role & Contributions:
– Transformed team of both internal and external stakeholders to using Scrum methodologies to increase efficiency on tasks
– Reported eCommerce sales and traffic to leadership and internal teams
– Lead web projects to support marketing campaigns
